Explorer

Explorer mode is a game mode in GeoGuessr. The goal is to obtain a highscore per country. The player selects a country in which they will play, and will be placed in five locations in that country. Depending on the distance of the guess and size of the country, up to 5000 points can be earned per round.

Geoguessr shows an overview to inform the user of their highscores and medals for each country.

Playing style

Playing style depends on the country. Check out the list of all countries to find tips on that specific country.

Badges

Users can earn badges in this mode.

Medals

Medals are awarded for the highest score in a country. Medals are only awarded in single player mode.
